Aisha, daughter of Federal Commissioner Aliyu Tijani, weds Shitu, son of Emir of Loko in Nasarawa, attended by top politicians

Loko, the headquarters of Loko Area Administrative Council in Nasarawa State, was on Saturday, filled with prominent personalities from far and near who gathered to witness the wedding fatiha between Aisha Aliyu Tijani and Prince Shitu Abubakar, the Chigarin Loko.
At the wedding, the people of the State and beyond were encouraged to leverage the marriage institution to sustain and build on the existing peace and unity among various ethnic groups.
This, the people devoid of their ethnic and other differences are enjoined to use the marriage instruments to enhance the bond of friendship, unity and peace among the generality of the people of the State.
The call was the central message during the wedding fatiha of Aisha, daughter to the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of National Commission for Refugees Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons Hon. Ahmed Aliyu Tijani.
Tijani gave out his daughter Aisha into marriage with Prince Shitu Abubakar, Chigarin Loko, the Son of HRH Alh. Abubakar Ahmed Sabo, the Emir of Loko.
The wedding ceremony which took place today Saturday at Loko Central Mosque was conducted by the Chief Imam of the area Mallam Abdullahi Abbas Ahmed Tijani.
The Chief Imam pronounced Shitu and Aisha as husband and wife after fulfilling all the marriage rites including presentation of medical certificates and payment of 200 thousand naira as dowry.
The wedding ceremony which was well attended saw Loko, the Headquarters of Loko Area Administrative Council filled to capacity as prominent people within and outside the State attended the occasion to show solidarity and support to the Federal Commissioner and the Emir of Loko.
Those that attended the wedding ceremony include the State Deputy Governor Dr Emmanuel Akabe, former APC National Chairman Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, State APC Chairman Dr. Aliyu Bello and the Immediate past Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi.
Others include both serving and former members of National Assembly and the State House of Assembly, State Accountant General Dr. Musa Ahmed Muhammed, Commissioners and LG Chairmen, politicians among others.
Praise Singers were not also left out as they had their field day.
