The Honourable Member representing Olamaboro Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Alewo Anthony Ujah, has launched a people-centered development initiative aimed at improving the quality of life for residents across the local government area.
This initiative focuses on delivering critical infrastructure projects that address the pressing needs of various communities within Olamaboro.
As part of his commitment to delivering basic social amenities, Hon. Ujah is currently digging solar-powered boreholes in three key districts: Imane (Agaliga), Ogugu, and Okpo (Eboyi). These boreholes, which are nearing completion, will provide clean and sustainable water to thousands of residents who have long struggled with access to potable water.
In addition, he is rehabilitating the General Hospital in Ogugu, which had been in a state of disrepair for some years. The renovation work is now 70% completed, signaling hope for improved healthcare delivery in the region.
Hon. Ujah expressed deep appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo , for empowering lawmakers to serve their people better through impactful constituency projects. He also commended the Executive Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government, Hon. Comr Ameh Williams , for maintaining a secure and peaceful environment that enabled the smooth execution of the projects. “No workers were attacked, and no facility was vandalized. This is a testament to the local government chairman’s commitment to security,” he stated.
Speaking on the importance of his initiatives, Hon. Ujah emphasized that water is a basic need of life, and promised to continue delivering essential services that uplift the welfare of his constituents.
With these projects, Hon. Alewo Anthony Ujah has once again demonstrated that leadership is about impact, service, and the commitment to make life better for the people.
