Oborevwori celebrates Amori’s 73rd birthday
Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, extended warm felicitations to his Chief Adviser, Chief (Dr.) Ighoyota Amori, on the occasion of his 73rd birthday.
The Governor praised Chief Amori for his steadfast commitment and exceptional contributions to Delta State’s development, describing him as a distinguished leader and inspiration to many.
Chief Amori notably chaired the Delta Central 2023 (DC-23) political lobby group and has played a significant role in the state’s politics and development through various political and public service roles.
Chief Ighoyota Amori is an elder statesman with extensive experience, including serving as a Commissioner for Education and Water Resources Development in Delta State.
His leadership has been credited with major educational infrastructure improvements and the establishment of tertiary institutions in the state.
He has also been active in political advisory roles and party leadership within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
