To His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State,
I wish to express my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to you, for approving the construction of the 12.5km Unosi–Odonto–Ogigiri rural road in Ajaokuta Local Government Area. As a proud daughter of Ajaokuta and Special Adviser on SEMA to your esteemed Office, I am thrilled to see your administration’s commitment to improving the lives of our people.
This project, flagged off under the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (Kogi RAAMP), will significantly enhance rural connectivity, boost agricultural marketing, and stimulate economic growth in our community. It will also improve access to farmlands, ease transportation of agricultural produce, and foster socio-economic development.
I particularly want to appreciate our Leader, Barr. Abdulraheem Sanni Egidi, the Member Representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, for his tireless efforts in ensuring that Ajaokuta remains in the heart of your administration. His dedication to the development of our constituency is truly commendable.
I also appreciate the Honourable Commissioner for Energy and Rural Development, Engr. Abdulmutalib Muhammad, for taking swift action on this project after your directive. His commitment to rural development is a sign of the effectiveness of your administration.
This project would be a game-changer for our community, especially for our women and youths who frequently use this route to access farms and markets. It will undoubtedly ease their movement, boost their productivity, and enhance their overall well-being.
