Strengthening APC, Empowering Nasarawa State, Gov Sule’s Governance Model. — Comr. Ja’afar Loko, NYCN Chairman
Even when the political ideology and principles are fading and eroding as a result of lack of focus among the party leaders at certain levels, Governor Abdullahi A Sule has proven beyond reasonable doubt that APC is indeed a Progressive Party which is determine to address the challenges of development associated with infrastructure, Security and welfare of the citizens as encapsulated in the manifesto of the party
At a time when the party leaders at various stages are busy pursuing personal interest above that of the party, dilly-dallying, wining and dining with oppositions in an open secret to align interests, Governor Abdullahi Sule remain focused in delivering Good Governance by ensuring transparency, accountability and inclusive governance which has transformed the state, these. are what many of us tagged “Inclusive Development with Renewed Commitments”.
Governor Sule is seems to be more committed to developing the state more than ever before, making significant investments in infrastructures, Agriculture, and technology that has boosted the state’s economy and created jobs in both Urban and Rural areas, strengthening the mechanisms of Security and Peace building, boosting the economic prospects by making the state more attractive to investors.
The Governor’s proactive approach to Security has drastically reduced crime rates and created a conducive environment for more investment. His unwavering commitment to the welfare of citizens has, to a large extent, alleviated poverty and hardship in the state.
The initiative for Ease of Doing Business introduced by this administration has resuscitated many traders, entrepreneurs, artisans, businessmen and women.
The governor’s Agricultural revitalisation efforts have encouraged many people to embrace agriculture, which today resonates with food security and makes Nasarawa state the second food basket of the Nation. He succeeded in opening up more major rural roads, which has eased the transportation of products, allowing other agricultural activities to thrive.
In the areas of commerce, trade, and investment, the Governor has embarked on massive constructions of standard markets across the state with modern facilities and technology devices that minimise risks and disasters.
The Governor equally succeeded in transforming some key sectors, including transportation, education, healthcare, civil service, and Local Government Administration, among others.
These transformative strives and the efforts of the Governor to consolidate all legacy blocs under the APC umbrella have strengthened the party’s position in the state coupled with his starling leadership and qualities of simplicity, honesty, leniency, patience, generosity and perseverance, has further built more confidence in the minds of party fateful across board, promotes the party and increases it acceptability, these unique virtues attracted many individuals hence joining the party in the state almost on daily basis including present and past members of the state Assembly and opposition leaders.
The developments that rekindled the prospects and determination of our Governor to deliver Nasarawa state to another APC Governor in 2027, and extend widely the message of his dedication to the party’s ideals.
Governor Sule’s dedication to the ideals of APC has plunged Opposition parties into a state of comatose and confusion, chasing one another.
The focus of our Governor as a symbol of unity should now be on strengthening, if not overhauling, the internal party mechanism to ensure strict adherence to its manifestos and ideals, initiate routine assessment and integrity test of all its leadership.
Those of us coming up as young politicians have identified the APC as a training ground and invested lots of our time, energy, resources and even integrity with much expectations and prospects of building our careers and advancing our potentials,
In furtherance of this, we also identified His Excellency, Engr Abdullahi Sule as a mentor and role model for bringing some of us to the limelight and providing opportunities for many young persons to realise their political dreams, efforts that need to be sustained and remain consistent in breeding the next political leaders, prepared to excel.
The challenges ahead of us all in the party are to join His Excellency in sanitising it through disabusing the thoughts of those who think they can belong to two political parties at a time, seeing parties as just a mere platform they can use to realise their aspirations.
Governor Abdullahi A Sule is indeed exceeding all Expectations in all ramifications, he needs our collective support to succeed more and for APC to triumph and cost to victory in 2027.
