The Kogi State Head of Civil Service, Dr. Elijah Evinemi, on Wednesday joined other top government officials to receive the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sen. Kashim Shettima, GCON, at Obajana.
Vice President Shettima led a high-powered presidential delegation on a condolence visit to commiserate with the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, FCA, over the demise of his beloved father, Pa Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo.
The Vice President, representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, was warmly received at the Obajana airstrip by the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Comr. Joel Salifu Oyibo, Secretary to the State Government, Dr. (Mrs.) Folashade Ayoade Arike, the Head of Civil Service, Dr. Elijah Evinemi, members of the State Executive Council, top Government functionaries and other dignitaries before proceeding to Okene, the country home of the Governor, to condole with the Ododo family.
