Nasarawa APC lawmakers backs Gov Sule, Speaker Jatau

Members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly under the All Progressives Congress (APC) have passed a vote of confidence on Governor Abdullahi Sule for the good work he is doing in the state.
They also passed the same vote of confidence on their leader, the Speaker, Dr. Danladi Jatau, and other principal officers of the House for their inclusive leadership and unity in the House.
The lawmakers expressed appreciation for Governor Sule’s achievements in various sectors and assured him of continued support to succeed.
They also urged the governor to anoint a successor who will sustain his legacies beyond 2027.
They have also passed same vote of confidence on their leader, the Speaker, Dr. Danladi Jatau and other principal officers of the House for uniting and providing all inclusive leadership in the House.
Hon. Suleiman Yakubu Azara, the Majority Leader of the House stated the lawmakers resolution while briefing journalists on the outcome of their caucus meeting held today at the State Assembly Lafia.
Hon. Azara, who represents Awe South Constituency said that the meeting was aimed at fostering unity among Honourable members of the party for the progress, success and development of the party, the House and the State at large.
He revealed that the APC Caucus meeting also acknowledged the visionary leadership of the party at all levels.
” The essence of this meeting is to understand and unite ourselves. It is centred on unity.
” Secondly, it is to appreciate His Excellency, Engr. A A Sule for the good work he is doing in the state. During our oversight functions, we have gone round to project sites, nocks and crannies of the state.
” Infact, we have seen the good work that His Excellency is doing across the state and we want to assure him of our continued support and synergy to succeed” he said.
Hon. Azara also commended the Speaker and Principal officers of the House for their good leadership styles.
” The third one is to appreciate the leadership style of Mr Speaker and Principal officers of this Assembly for their good leadership. Indeed, there is unity of purpose in the House” he said.
Hon. Azara also thanked the National and State Working Committees of APC for the good work they have been doing for the progress of the party in the state and country at large.
The APC Caucus called on Gov. Sule to annoint a successor that would sustain his legacies after the expiration of his tenure in 2027.
” We urge His Excellency, Engr. A A Sule to bring somebody that will sustain what he has put in place in the state” he added.
Hon. Azara called on the people of the state to continue to pray and support Gov Sule to succeed and for sustained peace and development of the state.
He said the meeting also called on aspirants of the party to play the game by its rules and know that is one person that God choses will emerge at the end of the day.
Besides, he said the lawmakers condoled with the State APC over the demise of its Deputy Chairman Hon. Aliyu Barde Yakubu and prayed God to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal peace.
” During our meeting, we got the sad news on the demise of our state APC Deputy Chairman.
” We pray God to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatu firdausi” he said.
The Speaker, Dr. Danladi Jatau, described Governor Sule as a God-sent leader who has made significant strides in infrastructure, education, health, and agriculture in Nasarawa State and called on all to support him through prayers and cooperation for more development .
