Abia APC Stalwart, Kalu Oji congratulates Ogah on award by the Sun Newspaper

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abia State, Hon Otuwe Kalu Oji, on Tuesday, congratulated the former Minister of State, Mines and Steel Development, Dr Uche Sampson Ogah on his recognition by the Sun Publishing Limited.
Recall that Ogah, alongside with other distinguished Nigerians were nominated by the board of editors of the Sun Publishing Limited for their excellence performances in industrialization drive in Nigeria and beyond.
The reputable media organisation honoured Dr Uche Ogah as The Sun Industrialist of the Year Award 2023 by for making visible investments thereby contributing to the development of the Nigerian economy.
The presentation ceremony of the prestigious The Sun award was held Saturday 17, February, 2024 at the Expo Centre, Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos”,it partly stated.
Earlier, Hon Otuwe Kalu Oji, a former Abia State House of Assembly candidate of the APC for Ohafia North constituency seat during the 2023 election in a statement on Tuesday, said the Sun Industrialist of the Year award bestowed on Dr Uche Ogah was a clear testament that the ex-minister had curve a niche in energy, oil and gas, industrialization, job and wealth creations, philanthropism as his business conglomerates has thousands of youths, elderly men and women engaged into manufacturing sector.
Describing Ogah’s meritorious award as well-deserved, the Abia party chieftain noted that the award recipient demonstrated youthful zeal of hard work and industry guided by the grace and fear of almighty God.
Hon Oji lauded the immense contributions of the former minister in the development of Nigerian economy, recalling the latter’s outstanding achievements while serving as minister of the federal Republic of Nigeria.
His words: “While as minister, citizens of Abia origin from Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development Solid mineral training held in Abuja. His then administration in the ministry of mines sponsored the federal training scheme.
“And the training programme was then designed by the federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development in collaboration with the World Bank. And not only youths from Abia state participated in the scheme, youths from all parts of the federation were trained. And this great feat made them to become self reliant and self dependent”.
Hon Oji encouraged Ogah to remain steadfast in his visible efforts and that of other distinguished Nigerian citizens in creating massive jobs and wealths through their various business conglomerates.
According to him, “I join other progressive-minded citizens of Abia state and Nigeria at large to congratulate you once again on auspicious and meritorious The Sun Industrialist of the Year award 2023 conferred on you by the widely-read The Sun Newspaper, and to let you know the Sky is not your limit but the Heavens.
“I pray for continuous God’s grace, direction and wisdoms in his great service to humanity and the nation”, Hon Otuwe Kalu Oji added.
