Affirmation of Gov. Sule’s mandate, victory for Nasarawa State, says NSHA Speaker Jatau.
Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau has described the Supreme Court victory of Gov. Abdullahi Sule as the victory for the people of Nasarawa State.
Speaker Jatau stated this while reacting to the Supreme Court Judgement in Abuja today.
He said the verdict was a clear manifestation of the people’s mandate given to Gov. Abdullahi Sule during the general election in the State.
The Nasarawa State Number Three Citizen called on the opposition Peoples Democratic Party PDP to join hands with Governor Abdullahi Sule to build Nasarawa State of the people’s dream.
Speaker Jatau hailed Supreme Court for given a final verdict that reflects the wishes, aspirations and decisions of the generality of the people of Nasarawa State just as he commended the lawyers that defended the Governor for doing a great job by defending and proven their case convincingly.
Speaker Danladi Jatau called on all citizens of the State irrespective of their political, religious and ethnic differences to support and joined hand with the government of the day under Engr. Abdullahi Sule to deliver on his mandate.
He congratulated Governor Abdullahi Sule, APC and the people of the State over the victory and re-assured of the 7th Assembly under his watch to give the Governor all the necessary support to succeed.
The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt.Hon. Danladi Jatau added that the House will continue to make laws and pass resolutions that will better the lots of the people of the State calling on citizens to be law abiding and respect constituted authorities.
