The Member representing Ankpa 1 in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Honourable Lawal Akus will on Saturday, October 5 Commission the newly built borehole on Makurdi Street for the Ankpa township community.
This was contained in a statement released by the state Lawmaker in his bid to reduce to the barest minimum the acute water scarcity in the town and its environs.
Rt Honourable Lawal Akus has prioritized the provision of social services in the areas of Water, Electricity, Education, Empowerment, and Health and promises to make a difference in the next three years.
With the proposed commissioning, the area can now boast three boreholes since his assumption of office as the lawmaker representing the area.
Party supporters, dignitaries, and well-wishers are invited to witness the auspicious occasion scheduled for Saturday.
