Akwanga North Lawmaker Ven-Bawa gets constituents’ nod to run for second term in 2027
Stakeholders in Ancho electoral ward of Akwanga Local Government in Nasarawa State have endorsed the candidature of their member, Hon. Larry Ven-Bawa, for a second term in office at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly come 2027.
Hon. Larry Ven-Bawa currently represents Akwanga North Constituency at the House of Assembly and has received support from various community members and APC leaders for his re-election bid.
He has been active in his constituency, providing scholarships and empowering his constituents, which has earned him considerable goodwill and endorsement from the people of Ancho ward and beyond.
They expressed their confidence that he will continue to deliver positive impact and effectively represent their interests in the state legislature beyond 2027.
The stakeholders of Ancho electrical ward also endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and member of the House of Representatives for Akwanga/Nasarawa Eggon/Wamba Hon. Jeremiah Umaru for second term in office also come 2027.
During the stakeholders meeting which was held today Sunday at the electoral ward, the stakeholders also unanimously endorsed Engr. Abdullahi Sule the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State to contest for senate seat come 2027 when his tenure will come to an end to represent the people of the Northern Zone at the red chamber.
It was reported that the meeting was held at the instance of the Councilor representing Ancho electoral ward Hon. Moses Bawa.
The motion for the endorsement was moved by Administrator Akwanga West Area Administrative Council, Rinze Hon. Yunusa Adamu Amwe and seconded by Hon. Aeron Salau Rija Special Assistant to the State Governor.
They expressed satisfaction with their leadership qualities and landmark achievements of their stewardships hence the vote of confidence and the endorsements respectively.

Yunusa Adamu Amwe, Administrator Akwanga West Area Administrative Council, Hon. Aeron Salau, Special Assistant to the Governor, Hon. Paul Tella, former SSA to the Governor, Hon Maiwada Salihu Jambo, former SSA to the Governor on political matters and former zonal APC Chairman Nasarawa North, Hon. Moses Bawa, Councilor Ancho ward, Hon. Mama Mbeje, former Personal Assistant to the Governor, Hon. Mohammed Ayuba Zaki, legislative aide to Hon.
