…Ighodalo is a great man and exceptional lawyer

Joe Igbokwe, an All Progressives Congress (APC) leader, has startled Nigerians with a brief yet insightful characterization of esteemed legal practitioner and Edo State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Barr. Asue Ighodalo, as an exceptional lawyer.
Igbokwe stated that while many Nigerians may not be familiar with Asue Ighodalo, he knows Ighodalo’s dedication to democracy and the fight against the annulment of Chief MKO Abiola’s June 12, 1993, presidential election victory.
Igbokwe recalled the role played by THE CONCERNED PROFESSIONALS, CP led Prof Pat Utomi. Other members of the group are Morin Babalola, Tunde Akindele, Asue Ighodalo, Oby Ezekwesili, Pius Isiekwene, Bisola Okunnu, Tola Mobolurin, Hassan Odukale Jnr, Bayo Odulami, Julia Oku, Jimi Agbaje, Billy Lawson, my humble self etc.”
He described Asue Ighodalo as one of the toughest lawyers, highly respected and an exceptionally successful legal practitioner.
He said that the incumbent Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, having issues with Edo people, paved the way for his party, the APC, to grab victory with both hands.
