The Shooting Sports team of Kogi State to the 2025 National Youth Games taking place in Asaba beginning from August 26th to September 6th, 2025, has assured of her preparedness at clinching Medals for the State at the Games.
The Coach of Kogi State Shooting Sports, Ali Yusuf Adagiri, gave the assurance at the Training ground, Package B’ of the Moshud Abiola Stadium in Abuja where the State team are undergoing their Training.
Coach Adagiri said his team has been committed to the sport, noting that as they dot the i’s and cross the Ts ahead of the Games, they are aiming at nothing than gold medals at the Games.
He pointed out that the sport improve physical fitness (strength, stamina, hand-eye coordination), enhance mental acuity (focus, concentration, problem-solving), and significant stress relief.
“Shooting Sports builds discipline, confidence, and patience, while providing opportunities for social connection within a community. Shooting promotes mastery of firearm and so on
“As we prepare for the 2025 National Youth Games in Asaba, we are leaving no stone unturned. We have been preparing for the competition and we are aiming at nothing than Gold Medals”, he reiterated.
The National Youth Games will run from August 26th to September 6th, 2025, bringing together the best young talents from across the Country to compete for glory and national recognition.
