Avwomakpa Appoints Nuwhele Secretary-General Of Church Council
The President and Founder of Christ Missionaries Crusaders Church, Archbishop Dr. Goddowell Avwomakpa, has inaugurated the International Executive Committee of the Church with Pastor ThankGod Nuwhele as Secretary-General.
Nuwhele, a former President of the Student’s Union Government at the Delta State University, Abraka, was inaugurated alongside other members at the International Headquarters of Christ Missionaries Crusaders Church, Ekpan, on Saturday.
Pastor Nuwhele, a man known for his humility and unwavering commitment to service, has accepted his new role as Secretary-General—a role requiring wisdom, dedication, and a deep connection to the church’s administrative values with gratitude.
He pledged to uphold the church’s mission and continue its legacy of faith and service.
At the meeting, Pastors and delegates from all branches of the church gathered in a General Council to deliberate on the way forward.
The Archbishop who is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Executive Council unveiled the theme for the year as FULFILLING PURPOSE taken from Jeremiah 29:11.
He admonished the General Council and all delegates to love and support one another as well be innovative to new ideas and prayed for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance.
The high point was the inauguration of the Executive Council which is one of the highest decision making body of the Church.
