Boss Mustapha Ismail Obtains Kogi NYCN Chairmanship Nomination Form, Seeks Stakeholders’ Support

Ahead of the Kogi State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Congress scheduled for July 19, 2025, the Director General for Boss Mustapha Ismail Campaign Organization, Umar Bako (Clerk), has asserted that his candidate, Boss Mustapha is eminently qualified and competent to lead the council if given the chance, having served in various capacities at both the local government and state levels.
Bako Clerk, who is the Secretary to the Kogi local government council, former forum chairman, and coordinator representing Kogi LG, stressed that supporting individuals like Boss Mustapha Ismail crucial for the State NYCN, council to attain its goals, as they promote peace, progress, development, and unity within the Council.
Shortly after Boss Mustapha Ismail obtained his nomination form at the Kogi State Ministry for Youth and Sport Development, assured Hon Arideojo Monday Anyebe, the Commissioner, and Kogi youths that their candidate would collaborate closely with the Kogi State government, noting that the foundation had been laid by the immediate past Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, the supreme leader of Kogi State.
The Director General also commended the incumbent Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for embracing the vision and mission of Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, describing him as a father and true statesman.
Honorable Monday Aridaojo Anyebe, State Commissioner for Youth and Sport Development, welcomed Boss Mustapha Boss and campaign team to his office and stressed the need for a peaceful campaign.
The Commissioner called on various NYCN aspirants to put aside their differences and work together to develop Kogi State, regardless of their ambitions
The Commissioner assured that the State government would continue to support groups that promote peaceful coexistence and development.
It was reported that Boss Mustapha Ismail’s campaign organization was accompanied by former present and former coordinators, stakeholders, and elders of NYCN across the 21 LGAs.
