Comr. Nuhu Usman runs for Kogi NYCN Chairmanship, releases manifesto
Comrade Nuhu Usman, a youthful and vibrant citizen from the Central Senatorial District of Kogi State, has officially declared his intention to contest for the Chairmanship seat of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kogi State Chapter.
This move highlights his commitment to youth development and active participation in leadership within the state.
Usman candidacy is expected to bring fresh energy and innovative ideas to the council, aiming to empower young people across Kogi State.
Following his declaration to contest for the Chairmanship seat of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kogi State Chapter, Comrade Nuhu Usman, who is a former aide to the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Adoza Bello, has officially picked his nomination form for the prestigious post in the Confluence State.
This step confirms his active participation in the electoral process for the NYCN leadership in Kogi State.
Filled with vision, passion and commitment to seeing to the growth and unity of Youth across the State, Comr. Nuhu Usman has also rolled out his Manifesto, as stated below:
INNOVATION & ENTREPRENEURSHIP: As the World economy evolves around innovations and entrepreneurship, my manifesto for the NYCN Kogi State Chairman’s office centers on empowering my fellow youths through innovation.
YOUTH DEVELOPMENT: Fellow youths of Kogi State, as I contest for the esteemed position of Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Kogi State Chapter, I bring before you a visionary plan to revolutionize youth development in our great State. My agenda centers on facilitating and establishing the Kogi Innovative Hub, a pioneering initiative designed to equip our youths with relevant skills, foster entrepreneurship, and drive economic growth.
The Kogi Innovative Hub: A Game-Changer for Youths
The Kogi Innovative Hub will be a state-of-the-art facility that provides a conducive environment for youths to acquire skills, innovate, and thrive. The hub will offer:
1. Free Skill Acquisition Programs in areas of Technology, Entrepreneurship, Arts, and Vocational Skills.
2. Mentorship and Coaching: Experienced professionals will guide, support and teach the youths to become better citizens and contribute their quota to Societal development.
3. Networking Opportunities: Connecting youths with industry experts, investors, and peers.
4. Incubation and Acceleration: Supporting start-ups and innovative projects.
OBJECTIVES
1. Empower above 5,000 youths with skills within the first two years.
2. Establish partnerships with government agencies, private sector, and international organizations.
3. Create a platform for youths to showcase their talents and innovations.
4. Generate Revenue to the State.
IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY
1. Collaborate with Government agencies to secure funding and resources.
2. Partner with private sector and other organizations to provide expertise and mentorship.
3. Engage with local and international organizations to access best practices and funding opportunities.
