The death of Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani, father of Kogi State Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, have been described as not just a loss to the family but to the entire State.

 

The Managing Director, Kogi State Agricultural Development Project (ADP), Dr. George Ogirima Bello, made the assertion in a Message to sympathise with the Governor and Kogites over the passing on of Pa Ahmed Momoh.

Dr. Ogirima explained that parents are coverings, counsellors, genuine lovers and pathfinders, noting that the loss of one’s parent or loved ones irrespective of their age, hurts deep.

“The news of the death our Excellency’s father came to me with a rude shock. I immediately flashed back to how I felt when I lost mine. The feeling is deep, one cannot explain it

“At a moment like this, while we mourn we should also take solace in the fact that Baba gave his children good upbringing as being manifested today in the life of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State 

“Baba’s death is a huge loss to the entire State and it is my prayer that Almighty Allah grant him Aljanatul Firdausi and the family and the entire Kogites, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss (Amin)”. 

 

Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani, the father of Kogi State Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo died at the age of 83 in Abuja after a brief illness.
