Dr Hussain Shaibu, Kogi Born Media Theatre and Film Icon Appointed DG National Film and Video Censors Board.

One of Igalas most vibrant film, media scholar and practitioner of global repute, Dr Hussain Shaibu has been appointed the Director General of the National Film and Video Censors Board, NFVCB.

This was contained in a press statement released on Friday to the media by the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Mr Ajuri Ngelale.

A native of Kogi State, from Igala extraction , Shaibu brings a lot of academic and on the field experience to the art world

He is an acclaimed international film critic and media entrepreneur of high repute with proven antecedents.

Dr Hussein with many decades experience both in critic, practice and teaching will turn around the age long National Film and Video Censors Board, NFVCB in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Renewed Hope Agenda.
