Hon. Jonah Ali Dizaho is the member representing Karu/Gitata constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, and has distributed palliative comprising rice worth millions of Naira and cash to the people of his constituency.
Dizaho, said gesture was for Muslim faithfuls ahead of this year Eid-el-fitr celebration.
Hon. Dizaho, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Information while making the distribution today called on his people to continue to pray and support leaders at all levels to succeed.
He said that the distribution was aimed at making the Muslim faithfuls of his constituency to celebrate the Sallah with joy and happiness.
” This is also to improve on your standard of living,” he said
The lawmaker urged the beneficiaries to use the rice in order to better their standard of living and that of their family members stressing that they should not sell the items.
He further assured of his continous readiness to provide dividends of democracy to his people
He extended his tentacles to Uke/Karshi Development Area as part of his local government area.
The PDP lawmaker called on well-meaning individuals to help the vulnerable ones in the society in order to improve on their standard of living.
The lawmaker urged the people of his constituency to live in peace and continue to pray for peace, unity and development of Karu/Gitata, Nasarawa State and the nation at large.
In their separate remarks, the PDP party Chairman of Karu local government Hon. Ari Gunde and the DG of Hon. Jonah Campaign Organisation, Alhaji Yahaya Jibrin appreciated the lawmaker for the gesture and prayed God to bless him abundantly.
He assured Hon Dizaho of their support at all times to succeed.
