Empowerment Initiative: Wife of Toto LG Chairman Distributes Wrappers, Cash

Hajiya Hauwa Ahmed Yahaya, wife of the Executive Chairman of Toto Local Government Area in Nasarawa State, has distributed wrappers and cash to women across all 12 electoral wards.
This initiative aims to support the state’s commitment to fulfilling campaign promises made during the 2023 elections and the distribution reflects a concerted effort to empower women and enhance their socio-economic status within the community
The wife of the council Chairman distributed the items at the Toto LG Secretariat Complex on Tuesday in accordance with Governor Abduallahi Sule’s administration vision to provide governance and dividends to the people of Nasarawa State.
During her address, she emphasized that the distribution was initiated by Her Excellency, the First Lady of Nasarawa State, Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi Sule, and added that this gesture would boost their economic situation.
“Her Excellency, Hajiya Silifat A Sule is steadfast in her commitment to empowering women and other vulnerable groups in the State. We should continue to support her and her husband’s administration to ensure its continued success.”
She noted that additional initiatives are forthcoming and will engage with more groups and individuals in the area.
According to the Chairman’s wife, Her Excellency was committed to supporting any initiative that would positively affect the lives of women, girls, and the underprivileged in the area.
She sought the support of all and sundry to enable her husband to succeed as Chairman of Toto Local Government Area.
Our correspondent report that the event was attended by the Executive Chairman of Toto LG, Pharm Ahmed Baba Yahaya, the Deputy Chairman, Hon. Atnadu Sunday Yakubu and his wife, the Local Government Secretary and his wife, the Speaker of the Local Government legislative arm and his wife, Principal Officers of the Local Government Legislative Council and their wives, the Toto Local Government APC Chairman, and other key stakeholders of the party.
