The new Miss Nollywood international beauty Queen, Miss Hassana Ozohu Salisu (HOS), has promised to mobilize Nigerian Youths for patriotism and nationalism.
In an interactive session in Lokoja with members of the Correspondents ‘Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Kogi State Council, the newly crowned Queen appealed to Nigeria media to assist in promoting her objective to touch the lives of Nigerians positively.
Queen Hassana Ozohu Salisu, who is the 11th Miss Nollywood international, barred her mind to discover new talents in the movie industry that will serve as role models for a united Nigeria.
The beauty Queen, while soliciting support from the media to achieve her goals, disclosed that her numerous planned projects will be anchored on patriotism and Nationalism, with the slogan, “for the love of my nation”.
“I intend to set history as Miss Nollywood International in Nigeria to visit Correctional centres, schools, and hospitals, embark on rehabilitation of road projects by filling 64,000 potholes, empower thousands of Youths, Women, and ensure that the rights of our young Girls are protected. This and many more will be achieved in the next one year.”
“Why I intend to champion this slogan, “For the love of my nation” is the urgent need for every one of us to love our Nation personally. When you do that, collectively, we will say no to corruption, ethnic divisibility, hatred, hate speech, kidnapping, armed robbery, sex for mark, nepotism, examination malpractices, consumption of illicit hard drugs and other social vices.
“Am appealing to the media, which is the fourth estate of the realm to support my vision in ensuring that we achieve the Nigeria of our dreams. We should take note that, it is not just about the movie industry, Nollywood, but it goes beyond this. The image of our Country should be protected by all and sundry with the way and manner we are doing or reacting to things before us”.
The 25years old Queen Salisu from Kogi State, said she is prepared for partnerships with Governments at all levels, Corporate Organizations, Philanthropists, Social and development groups, as her doors are open for pcollaborations adding that impacting lives and giving back to society has been her driving force over the years.
Also speaking, the Manager of Queen Hassana Ozohu Salisu, the Miss Nollywood International, 2024/25, the Chief Executive Officer, (CEO) of Omedia Nigeria Limited, Orits Gee, described his client as an epitome of beauty, knowledge and young Philanthropist, whose contributions to society have been widely felt by the People.
“Miss Hassana Ozohu Salisu is a symbol of hope for our younger generations. This is a young girl who was determined to achieve this feet. She went to that competition in Bayelsa State with the determination to make Kogi State proud. And now, She has done it. Am not surprised with the plans She has drafted in the next one year to change things for the better.”
