Global Times Nigeria has obtained reports that Okatakyie Afrifa, a Ghanaian patriot and broadcaster, has publicly fired the self-declared Nigerian Igbo King operating in Ghana and has called for his immediate deportation from the country.

He accuses the Igbo King of undermining Ghana’s traditional leadership and causing ethnic tension.

Okatakyie Afrifa argues that the Igbo King’s coronation was conducted secretly, questioning the legitimacy of his claim to chieftaincy in Ghana.

The Ghanaian braodcaster has strongly criticized Captain Smart and Empress Gifty, accusing them of being involved in supporting or endorsing the Igbo King’s controversial position.

These events followed an emergency meeting of the Ningo Traditional Council, which was convened over concerns about the Igbo King’s activities.

Okatakyie Afrifa’s statements have sparked widespread public debate, with many Ghanaians opposing the Igbo King’s presence and influence in the country.

There are suggestions of bribery involving local chiefs and government officials allowing the Igbo King to operate unchallenged.
