The good deeds of Kogi State Governor, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo has echoed beyond the shores of Nigeria as the Mayor of Brampton, Canada – His Lordship, Patrick Brown, honours him with Gender, Youth Inclusion and 2025 Community Development Awards.
His Lordship, Patrick Brown while presenting the Awards in the City of Brampton, said it was in recognition of the good leadership provided by Governor Ododo, especially in the areas of giving women and youth opportunities to be part of State decision makers through their appointment into various positions of authorities and his commitment to ensuring Communities are accorded adequate attention through various initiatives.
Receiving the Awards on behalf of the Governor, popular Kogi-born International Music Artist, Juwon Demas Olorunnipa, who goes with the stage name JUMABEE, described Governor Ododo as an icon of Youth and gender inclusive administrator.
JUMABEE, who is also the Special Adviser to the Governor on Entertainment assured that Kogi State, under Gov. Ododo is on the match to greatness.

“The Confluence State at this event has bagged three plaques for Gender, Youth Inclusion and Community Development”. This is not just an Award, it is also a wake up call to do more because to who much is given, much more is expected
