Gov. Sule commends Larry-Ven Bawa for positively impacting lives
Hon. Larry-Ven Bawa, the lawmaker representing Akwanga North Constituency and Chief Whip of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has procured and distributed two trucks of fertilizers worth N50 million to farmers in his constituency. This initiative was part of his efforts to support agricultural development and empower his constituents.
Baw is a member of the APC and also serves as Chairman of the Committee on Health and Vice Chairman of Education, Science and Technology in the Assembly.

The fertilizer distribution was flagged off with the presence of Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, who made symbolic presentations to some beneficiaries.
This, he said is to boost food production and improve on their standard of living of his people.
While flagging off the symbolic distribution today in Andaha, Akwanga LGA, Gov. Abdullahi Sule, has commended Hon.Larry- Ven Bawa for distributing fertilizer to farmers of his constituency, especially at this raining season.
It would be reported that the event marked the third edition of the Annual Value Addition Agricultural Empowerment Scheme of the lawmaker two years in office.
Sule called on other members of the State House of Assembly in the State to emulate Hon. Larry for bumper harvest and for the overall development of their constituencies.
” I pay no attention for party but performance, l am calling on members of state assembly to emulate from what Larry Ven Bawa is doing in his constituency by executing projects that have direct bearing on the lives of the people” he said.
” I want to commend Hon Larry for this gesture and for the good work he is doing for his people.
” Your performance is speaking for you and will campaign for you in the next election.
” I want to urge you to continue with the good work” the Governor said.
Earlier, Hon Larry-Ven Bawa said he spent over N50 million to procured the two trucks of fertilizer to farmers, adding that this is for the third time.
Hon. Larry said that his people are predominantly farmers, hence the need for the gesture in order to boost food security in his constituency.
” Ninety nine percent of my people are farmers, farming is their way of life, that is why I take it upon myself to invest in them in the area of agriculture to help increase their earning and food security.
” What I am doing is to also complement the effort of our people’s Governor in boosting agricultural production and change the fortune of the people of the state.
” This programme has come to stay. We are reliable, dependable, accessable and trustworthy” he said.
He assured of continued sound and quality representation at the state legislature.
On his part, the Chairman Akwanga Local Government, who is State ALGON Chairman, Hon Safiyanu Isa Andaha and Commissioner, Youth and Sports Development, Hon Yakubu Kwanta commended the performance of Hon. Larry Ven Bawa as member of the state assembly.
The duo said that Akwanga Local Government Area have never had it so good like now and urged the Lawmaker to continue in that direction.
Also speaking, House of Representative member representing Nasarawa North and Doma, Keana, Awe, Hon. Jeremiah Umaru and Hon Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba commended Gov. Abdullahi Sule for exceeding all expectations in the state.

They appreciated the lawmaker for consistently providing fertilizers to his constituents, whom are predominantly farmers.
President, Mada Development Association, Engr. James Bashayi and Chairman, Sarakunan Manoma, Akwanga North Constituency Mr Bashayi Isa Maikasuwa have also appreciated the effort of the lawmaker for developing his constituency.
They promised to drum support for the re-election of the member in 2027.
It would be reported that Chunn Mada, ALGON Chairman, Hon. Yakubu Kwanta, Abubakar Hassan Na Laraba, J J Umaru, MDA President, Chairman Sarakunan Manoma among others, all endorsed Gov. Abdullahi Sule for Senator in 2027 with promised to buy nomination form for him to contest.
Dignitaries in attendance also included the Hon. Commissioner Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr. Ibrahim Tanko, Commissioner Ministry of Land, Barr David Moyi, Chun Mada, HRH Samson Gamu Yare, other traditional rulers, political appointees, Prof. Muhammad Sani Haruna, Governorship aspirant, All Progressive Congress (APC) among others.
