Attempting a chronicle of his so many FIRSTS will reveal a catalogue of achievements that will challenge historians of comparative performance analysis of the various governments in the State since its creation in 1996.
Governor Sule ‘s footprints and significant impact in changing the infrastructure, economy, agriculture, education , health care services ,Human Capital Development are so palpable in ways never achieved in the history of the State .
Being the Technocrat that he is , he has made sure that democratic initiatives that are couched in bold innovations by thinking outside the box in governance, are backed by legislative instrumentality in order to give them life even after his exit from office at the successful completion of his two term tenure as Governor of the State.
These innovative programmes and projects executed have been sufficiently backed by statutory and legislative seals as laws of the State.
Since his first tenure Governor AA Sule has consistently ensured that the highest budgetary allocation in the State went to the Education Sector.
This is based, not only on his conviction that education is the bedrock of development in any society especially our State where literacy level remains a challenge for development, but because this is in compliance with UNESCO recommendations.
He has upgraded his government and the civil service by ensuring that this institution moves from archaic ways of conducting government business to the digital e government practices, thus keeping the State abreast with modern trends of management in Governments in the Federation.
Key Institutions like NAGIS have digitalised their operations, thus positioning the organisation for more effective, efficient, and efficacious delivery of services and higher returns on Internally Generated Revenues.
Similarly, the introduction of ATM Cards for Scholarship payments in the State has made the processes faster and smoother in service delivery, and tightening leakages.
The administration has remained focused in strategic infrastructural development and initiated the Construction of the dual carriageway to the Government House which is a major road in State capital, thus giving the State Capital a face lift and is nearing completion.
The historic methodical commencement of the Integrated State Secretariat Complex designed to facilitate government business transactions by investors has become a major landmark on the chart of the legacy projects of Engr Abdullahi Sule’s Government.
When completed, the Government House, High Court Complex and the State House of Assembly complex axis will fit into the proverbial 3- Arm Zone of the State Capital. The approval for phase 2 of the project which will focus on the Installation of CCTV in Lafia and environs will no doubt elevate the security of our State Capital enviously among the comity of State Capitals in Nigeria.
Today, the State has continued to witness unprecedented influx of foreign mining companies and other Investors due to the conducive business environment in the State. The Governor insistence that investors in the mining sector must establish Processing Factories in the State in order to add value to the products and ensure Youth employment is a major game changer for his industrialization agenda.
The Citizens of Nasarawa State are called upon to continue to support the APC government of Engr. AA Sule and live in peace with one another for his development programme and projects to flourish.
