Hon. Omadefu offers free medical services to 2,500 residents of Agaza, Keana LGA.

Hon. Mohammed Adamu Omadefu, member representing Keana Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly whose election has been declared inconclusive, has sponsored free medical services to 2,500 residents of Agaza in Keana Local Government Area of the State.
Dr Richards Melody, Medical Officer with Nasarawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency (NASPHDA) made this known while briefing newsmen during the 2-days free medical services in Agaza, Keana Local Government Area today.
She said that the free medical service was to address the health challenges of the people of the area and its environs.
” This in turn will improve on their health status and general well being of the people of Agaza and other beneficiaries.
” As a healthy nation is a wealthy nation,” she said.
The doctor said that their target was on pregnant women, children and people with eye problems among others.
” We are here to provide free medical services to the people of Agaza in Keana Local Government Area
” We are targeting 2,500 patients to give them different health services. Our target is on pregnant women, people with eye problems and children among others,” the doctor said.
She disclosed that the medical team would also attend to cases of BP, diarrhea, malaria among other illness.
The doctor called on the people of Agaza and its environs to avail themselves of the free medical treatment in the interest of their health.
On his part, Mr Abraham Ishaleku, the APC Chairman of Keana Local Government Area commended Hon Omadefu for the gesture and prayed God to bless him abundantly.
He said that the free medical services would go a long way in improving on the health status of the people of Agaza and its environs.
The APC Chairman solicited for the prayers, support and votes of the people of Agaza to enable Hon Omadefu win the forthcoming re-run election in five polling units of Agaza ward.
Mr Yahaya Opara, Mrs Naomi Emmanuel, among other beneficiaries appreciated Hon Omadefu for the free medical service and prayed God to bless him in his future political endeavours.
They have assured Hon Omadefu of prayers, support and votes in February re-run election in the five polling units of Agaza ward.
It would be reported that the Appeal Court Abuja has ordered INEC to conduct re-run in five polling units of Agaza ward of the constituency, thereby declaring the March 18 2023 Keana State Assembly election inconclusive.
The medical team also visited the palace of the traditional ruler of Agaza, the Osoku of Agaza HRH Muhammed Adeka for his Royal blessings.
