His Royal Highness, Chief Musa Usman Ogu, the Ohitu of farm center in Adavi local government area of Kogi, has join other eminent personalities to rejoice with the state governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, his deputy, comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo, cabinet members, and the totality of citizens over the monumental and resounding Apex Court verdict favouring the Governor.
Chief Musa Usman, in his congratulatory message to the Governor in Lokoja on Sunday and made available to News men hailed the Judiciary for upholding the tenets of democracy, rule of law through the adjudication of truth to the winner’s of Kogi state Governorship election.
According to him, the favourable Court verdict is a confirmation of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s humility, dedication and pragmatic approach to governance since he assumed the leadership of the state, urging lovers of democracy and masses to embrace his administration’s policie and programmes for the collective good of the state.
His Royal Highness, Chief Musa Usman Ogu, admonished the Governor to be magnanimous in victory by extending olive branch to his arch rivals by bringing them to the fold to enable them bring their ideas and innovations to move the state to an enviable position that will be cynosure for all eyes.
“Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has showed exemplary leadership and commitment in handling the affairs of the complex state in the last eight months, delivering tangible human and infrastructural development cutting across board, I am not surprised about this, because he has been groomed and mentored by former Governor, Yahaya Bello”, Musa quipped.
Chief Musa Usman, asked God to continue to protect and guide the governor and provide him the requisite knowledge, wisdom, strength, courage and sound health to execute laudable developmental projects that will fasttrack transformation of the state.
