Igbo Easter Retreat: Ohanaeze Ndigbo to honour Tinubu, others in Asaba

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has disclosed the plan to hold its annual Igbo Easter Retreat at Asaba in Delta State.
Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the Secretary General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo made the disclosure in a release made available to newsmen on Tuesday.

He stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu shall be honoured in solidarity and support for his leadership in this tumultuous times in the forthcoming 2024 Igbo Easter Retreat.
According to him, “In the forthcoming 2024 Igbo Easter Retreat in Asaba, we will light the flames of tribute for Major General De Obi and other 16 fallen soldiers, and immortalize their legacies in the annals of our history.
He reiterated the Ohanaeze’s call for swift justice and retribution for the slain soldiers of the Nigerian army massacred in Okuama community in Delta state.
“The blood of our fallen heroes demands nothing less than unwavering resolve, united in purpose and resolute in action”, Isiguzoro added.
The Secretary-General also called on former presidential candidates, Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso to set aside their feuds, and join hands in solidarity with President Tinubu to steer the nation through the murky waters of economic and security crises that threaten to engulf its citizens.
