A group comprising youths and women from Bassa Local Government Area of Kogi State, has appealed to the leaders of All Progressives Congress, APC, and Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo to intervene as some money mongers and kickback collectors plotting evil against the party in the area
Mallam Abdullahi Yakubu and Aliyu Baba Sadiq chairman and secretary expressed disappointment, frustration, and discontent over an attempt to shortchange a widely accepted All Progressives Congress, APC, Vice chairperson, Queen Gimba Ayiami Halimat (B-Lami)
They noted injustice, unfair treatment, manipulation of the electoral process, disregard for democratic principles, Favoritism and bias towards another unpopular candidate in the area.
Queen Gimba Ayiami Halimat (B-Lami) was duly nominated by the grassroots and stakeholders of Mozum Kingdom in Bassa LGA.

Gimba Ayiami Halimat (B-Lami) was nominated for the vice chairperson based on her track record, capacity and her contribution to the success of APC in the last election.
The group, however lamented that some few elements who feed on kickback manipulated her nomination for another new candidate in Mozum zone A.
The same Mozum Zone A have incumbent Bassa LG SUBEB Secretary, councilor, DLG and APC Party Chairman while Mozum Zone B where Queen Gimba Ayiami Halimat (B-Lami) came from has nothing.
B-Lami is from Ogba unit 005 in Zone B and only unit that delivered 99% (percent) for APC during the just concluded election.
The group appealed to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to look into the matter as not destroyed his believed for fair and justice.
Gimba Ayiami Halimat is the only candidate from Zone B known to have participated fully and used her musical talent to canvassed for my party, the governing APC.
The group who made their voice known in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital said the Governor’s prompt intention is urgently needed in order to safe the party from the hands of scammers, double face, jobbers and Social Democratic Party, agents who insisted during election that APC’s Ododo must not get 25%
They also said same people were involved in anti party activities.
