Kogi LG pensioners to receive N50m monthly gratuity – Ododo

Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has approved a monthly payment of N50 million specifically for the gratuities of local government pensioners.

This approval aims to enable pensioners to receive gratuity payments ranging from N100,000 to N500,000 monthly.

The governor has increased the monthly pension by N10,000 for each pensioner.

The Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Folashade Arike, disclosed this during a thanksgiving event in Kabba, emphasizing that pensions will continue to be paid promptly every month.

Governor Ododo also maintains a monthly release of N100 million for state pensioners’ gratuities alongside regular pension payments.

Furthermore, the Kogi State government has introduced a transparent, technology-driven payment system for pensions and gratuities that eliminates the need for lobbying or personal connections, ensuring payments are processed fairly and efficiently once documentation is complete
