A prominent All Progressives Congress, APC, member in Lokoja Local Government Area successfully delivered his polling unit for the party in the council elections, praising Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s leadership style as the key to success.

After exercising his right to vote at LGEA Polling Unit 001 on Saturday, he expressed appreciation for the area’s residents, acknowledging their consistent support for the APC at every level, from state to unit.
The real estate management expert stated that his support for APC leadership is not a misplaced priority, citing his conviction in the unprecedented records of achievements initiated by the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi.
He also expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for bringing impactful development to all 21 LGAs, which has significantly enhanced the state’s socioeconomic progress.
Yakubu likened Engineer Mohammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu, Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, to a champion of good governance, urging fellow officials to emulate his administrative style.
According to reports, Yakubu disbursed financial resources to chairmanship and councilorship candidates, as well as APC executives, prior to the election to guarantee their victory.
