Kogi NYCN Chairmanship: Adavi LG Chairman, Hon. Bashiru Okatengwu praises Boss Al-Mustapha Ismail’s leadership and dedication

Hon. Rasheed Bashiru Okatengwu, the Executive Chairman of Adavi Local Government, has made a heartfelt appeal to all stakeholders, including youths and elders within the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), to rally behind the chairmanship aspiration of Boss Al-Mustapha Ismail to win the forthcoming State Congress.
Boss Al-Mustapha Ismail, the former coordinator of Adavi Local Government and who was also the coordinator for the 21 LGAs forum, is highly regarded for his exemplary performance throughout his tenure.
According to Adavi LG Chairman, Boss Al-Mustapha Ismail demonstrated outstanding leadership and dedication during his time as coordinator. He was instrumental in promoting youth participation and engagement within the council.
The Executive Chairman urges collective support from all council stakeholders and members to acknowledge and back Boss A-Mustapha Ismail’s aspiration.
He spoke during a meeting on Wednesday, where Boss Mustapha Ismail presented his nomination form to him, the Chairman emphasized that backing Boss Ismail will help sustain progress and development among the youth in Kogi State.
Hon Bashiru urged the youth of Kogi State to work diligently to ensure the election of Boss Al-Mustapha Ismail in the forthcoming Congress.
The Chairman praised Boss Mustapha Ismail’s eight-year tenure as a local government youth leader under the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN). During this period, Ismail contributed significantly by distributing writing materials to public school pupils, leading campaigns against drug abuse, promoting unity and peace among the youth.
The Chairman believes that continued support for Boss Mustapha Ismail will enhance youth empowerment initiatives, foster educational development, and strengthen efforts to combat social vices, and as well maintain peace and unity within the youth community in Kogi State.
“I want to used this medium to call on all relevant stakeholders from Adavi local government and other 21 LGAs to support our own who has been very helpful and useful to the local government and state in all ramifications”
He also plead to delegates, stakeholders of youth council and Kogi state government to look inward of the antecedent or activities of BOSS AL-MUSTAPHA while in office as coordinator and give him maximum support to win the election.
Responding, Boss Al-Mustapha Ismail, the aspiring Chairman of the Kogi State chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), acknowledged the Executive Chairman of Adavi Local Government for his perceptive leadership and endeavors geared towards enhancing the socio-economic prospects of his constituents, including empowerment, security, education, agriculture, infrastructure, and worker welfare, among other sectors.
Boss Al-Mustapha Ismail noted that his decision to contest for the Chairmanship position of the NYCN was motivated by his desire to improve the lives of Kogi youths, having served in various capacities and deemed it necessary to advance the council to the next level.
He pledged to operate a transparent and inclusive administration, liaising with the ruling government to attract meaningful development to the youth community in the State.
