The National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Kogi State chapter under the leadership of Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale has extend his heartfelt condolences to the people of Maiduguri in Borno State over the unfortunate devastating flooding, resulting to loss of lives and properties worth billions of naira.

On Friday, Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale issued a statement in which he also sympathized with the business owners whose shops were destroyed by fire at the GSM Village, along Murtala Muhammed Way, Lokoja, Kogi State Capital

The Kogi NYCN boss applauded the prompt intervention of both the Federal and Kogi State Governments in the unfortunate incident.

While offering solace to the affected individuals, he urged affluent Nigerians to collaborate with the government in rehabilitating those whose livelihoods were devastated by natural disasters.

He portrayed the unfortunate incident as devastating given the present economic situation in the country.

He reiterated his trust in God, confident that those impacted by natural disasters will soon experience joy once more and even surpass their previous losses.
