Kogi State Butchers Association Chairman, Alhaji Ibrahim Idi commends Traditional council, stakeholders in Lokoja
Kogi State Chairman of Butchers Association, Alhaji Ibrahim Idi, has expressed appreciation to Lokoja Traditional Council and other stakeholders in the political setting for the conferment of chieftaincy title on him.
Alhaji Idi in his appreciation during an interactive session with newsmen in Lokoja said he was delighted for the honour done him.
He described his new position as the Sarkin Pawa of Lokoja as a befitting honour in recognition of his career as a butcher and passion towards contributing to the growth and development of the State.

The Chairman of the Association expressed appreciation to the Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Mohammed Kabr, Makarfi the fourth for finding him worthy of the position.
He promised to justify the confidence reposed in him by making sure that members welfare are on top of the agenda.
Alhaji Idi also appealed to the State Government to upgrade the State abattoir to the standard expected in modern time.
He demanded for revolving loan for members, completion of the structures, construction of clinic and presence of veterinarians to ensure the safety of animals slaughtered for consumption.
He also appreciated the butcher Association and friends for making it possible to get the position and prayed for better days ahead.
The Chairman appealed to members to cooperate with him to succeed to make the Association relevant in the state and beyond.
He appealed to members to remain with the APC led administration to win the council polls come 19th October 2024.
