Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, a respected politician and Immediate Past Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly, observes that death is an inevitable culmination of human life, dictated by an individual’s predetermined fate.
The Former Speaker and current Chairman of the Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Yobe State, made this statement during a condolence visit to the family of the late Alhaji Isa Rubochi in Rubochi today, Friday.
Balarabe Abdullahi, who is on official visit to Rubochi extolled the exemplary virtues of the deceased, noting that the late Alh. Isa Ibrahim Gwamna Rubochi was a paternal figure to all, whose life had positively impacted numerous individuals and served as a unifying force.
He counseled Jibrin Gwamna and the entire family to regard his demise as an act of God’s providence, who bestows and takes life according to His sovereign plan, noting that their father lived a virtuous life worthy of inspiration.
Balarabe Abdullahi offered prayers to God, seeking forgiveness for his shortcomings and the reward of paradise for his good deeds, while encouraging the children to adopt their late father’s noble traits and consistently pray for his soul to receive lasting mercy.
Speaking for the family, Mikail Isa Gwamna, an elder son, appreciated the former Speaker’s show of support during their difficult time, offering prayers for God’s abundant blessings upon him.
He conveyed the family’s heartfelt appreciation for the former Speaker’s visit, which brought them consolation, particularly given their father’s remarkable lucidity until his passing at 103, as evidenced by his ability to eat, acknowledge individuals, and offer guidance.
Hon. Mohammed Musa Ohinoyi alias General, erstwhile Chairman of Toto LGA, condoled with Alhaji Isa Rubochi’s family on his unfortunate passing, eulogizing him as an exemplary and genuine elder statesman in the area, while supplicating to God to grant him eternal rest in Aljanatul Firdausi.
It would recalled that Alhaji Isa Ibrahim Gwamna Rubochi passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 103 year, due to a brief illness, leaving behind two wives and his younger brother, Mr. Umaru Gwamna, who served as Permanent Secretary and Programme Manager of NADP in Nasarawa State, Mikail Isa Gwamna of FIRS FCT, Alhaji Muhammed Isa Gwamna of NNPC Abuja and Jibrin Gwamna, the Chief Press Secretary to the Rt. Hon. Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly.
