Lawmaker Esson Mairiga loses mother, Speaker Jatau offers condolences

The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to his colleague, Barr. Esson Mairiga, over the passing of his beloved mother, Mama Ladi Mairiga.

In a statement released on Wednesday by the Assembly Chief Press Secretary, Jibrin Gwamna, Dr. Jatau described the loss as deeply saddening and prayed that God grants the family the strength to bear the great loss.

He also commended the late Mama Ladi Mairiga for her exemplary life and contributions to her immediate community.

Speaker Jatau who said that late Mama Ladi has lived a full filled life by bringing up her children in the best way of life through education, religion and morality prayed God to grant her eternal grace and comfort Barr. Esson and the entire family.

While describing death as the necessary end to every mortal enjoined the member representing Lafia North Constituency and the entire family to see the demise of their mother as the will of God and continue to pray for the reposed of her soul in the kingdom of God.

The entire Nasarawa State House of Assembly joins in mourning with Barr. Esson Mairiga and his family during this difficult time.

“On behalf of myself, my entire family, Principal Officers, Hon. Members and the entire staff of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly I sincerely sympathized with the family of Barr. Esson Mairiga over the demise of his Mother, accept my condolences and may her soul find fervour from God” the statement quotes the Speaker as saying.
