LG Polls: Engr. Bashir Gegu attributes APC’s impending victory to Gov Ododo’s accomplishments in Kogi

Engr. Mohammed Abubakar Bashir Gegu, Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, has asserted that the All Progressives Congress, APC, will win all available positions in the Kogi local government area elections today, based on the remarkable accomplishments and performance of the current administration led by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.

The political leader of Kogi LG declared that the ongoing state election will be a walkover for the APC, given its impressive track record in security, governance, agriculture, health, education, and human capital development.

In a post-voting interview with journalists at Gegu Beki, Zone C headquarters of Kogi LG, Engr. Bashir Gegu expressed optimism that Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo’s impactful projects and people-focused initiatives have created a favorable environment for the APC record success.

At exactly 10:00am, the Commissioner cast his vote and praised the security personnel, Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC), political parties, and key stakeholders for ensuring a peaceful process, and encouraged the people to continue supporting Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration.

He expressed admiration for the electorate’s calm demeanor and impressive numbers, praising the State Electoral Commission and security forces for ensuring a seamless electoral process.

He predicted a landslide win for the APC, predicting they would secure 90% of the votes across the eleven electoral wards of Kogi LG
