The Kogi State chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, under Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojadale’s pragmatic leadership, has praised the peaceful conduct of the recent Local Government Elections held on Saturday, in which the All Progressives Congress, APC, won all 21 seats, including councilors.

Comrade Benjamin Jeremiah Ojadale asserts that the recently concluded council elections demonstrate Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s commitment to inclusive leadership, respect for the rule of law, and ensuring the effective functioning of the third tier of government.

In a statement released today in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, he declared the elections as free, fair, credible, and transparent.

Ojadale, a native of Olamaboro LG, stated that he was present to oversee the election and expressed profound gratitude to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for enabling the people to select their council officials, a stark contrast to the PDP era marked by violence and intimidation.
