Nasarawa Assembly to screen Administrators, Area Council Members tomorrow
The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has announced that it has concluded plans for the Loop of Administrators and Members of the 18 Area Administrative Councils within the state.
This development was disclosed in a statement signed by Mr. Ibrahim Musa, the Clerk of the House, and made available to newsmen in Lafia today, Sunday, May 25, 2025.
The screening process is expected to ensure that qualified and competent individuals are appointed to these key local government positions, promoting effective governance and development at the grassroots level across Nasarawa State.
The statement said the screening of the 18 Administrators and 72 Members of the Area Administrative Councils will hold tomorrow Monday, 26th May, 2025 at the Assembly complex Lafia by 10 O’clock in the morning.
The statement called on all Clerks at table and other chamber staff to be on hand by 8 O’clock in the morning for all necessary arrangements.
The statement while welcoming the appointees for the screening however called for decorum and understanding from members of the public who may be at the House to witness or show solidarity with the appointees by obeying the orders of the House and directives by the security agents.
