The Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has received the nomination of former Chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Nasarawa State Yusuf Sarki Iya as the New State Auditor General.
Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, the Speaker of the House made this known while reading Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s letter during the House proceedings today in Lafia.
He said that the appointment of Yusuf Sarki Iya followed his proven integrity in the State Audit Office.
” I here by direct the Clerk of the House to communicate to the nominee to submit 30 copies of his CV on or before Friday this week.
” And he should appear for screening and possible confirmation next week Monday” the Speaker said.
It would be reported that Yusuf Sarki Iya until his appointment is a Director, Project Monitoring and Evaluation, State Audit Headquarters, Lafia.
