Nasarawa Governor Declares 2025 NYSC Orientation Course Closed
……Charges them to Support Nasarawa’s Development

The Nasarawa State Government has reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) members posted to the state.
Governor Abdullahi Sule made the commitment during the closing ceremony of the 2025 NYSC Batch A stream two orientation course, held at Magaji Dan Yamusa Permanent Orientation Camp in Keffi, on Tuesday, 1-07-2025.
Declaring the 2025 Batch A Stream two orientation course closed, Governor Abdullahi Sule, represented by Commissioner for Youths and Sports development, Kwanta Yakubu, assured NYSC members of the government’s commitment to their welfare, security, and well-being.
He urged them to work towards improving the lives of their host communities and initiate programs that would create job opportunities and promote self-reliance.
The Governor appealed to corps employers not to reject NYSC members posted to their organizations, emphasizing that rejection would dampen their courage to serve.
“The government of Nasarawa state under Governor Abdullahi Sule is committed to ensure the welfare of Corps members in the state. Adequate arrangement has been made to send them to rural communities and Urban centers”.
NYSC Nasarawa State Coordinator, Mrs. Salamatu Muhammad, announced the deployment of corps members to various places of primary assignment, urging them to respect constituted authority and perform their duties as expected.
“Use social media responsible to foster Unity and growth. Seek official clarification on NYSC Matters and avoid spreading of misinformation, stop night journeys rather than use designated motor Parks”.
She appreciated Nasarawa state government under the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Sule for the building of multi purpose hall aims to enable corps members and staff to host camp activities and promised to ensure it’s maintenance for the benefit of all.
Some corps members interviewed expressed appreciation for the opportunities provided by the Federal and State Governments and promised to discharge their responsibilities in line with NYSC regulations.
The closing ceremony of the 2025 Batch A Stream two NYSC orientation course featured a dynamic display of quick and slow march past by corps members while the representative of the Governor inspected the quarter guard and corps members’ parade, showcasing discipline and precision.
