Nasarawa Speaker urges prayers for leaders to accomplish their tasks as ECWA DCC Keffi holds convention and fundraising

Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has reiterated his call for Nigerians to increase their prayers in support of leaders across all levels, thereby enhancing their ability to successfully drive national development.

In a statement made available to the press, the Speaker, through his Chief Press Secretary, Jibrin Gwamna, stressed the importance of love and unity amidst differences in religion, ethnicity, and politics for a harmonious society.

Speaker Jatau made the call at a convention for followership and fundraising organized by ECWA DCC Keffi at at Angwan Jarumai Keffi on Saturday.

The event convened prominent figures, including National Assembly members Hon. Jonathan Gaza, Hon. Jeremiah Umaru, Esu Karu Pharm. Luka Paya Baba, General Jacob Angbazo, and Hon. Solomon Akwashiki, among other notable attendees.

Speaker Jatau emphasized on the significant of prayers called on Nigerians to continue to intensify prayers for leaders at all levels to enable them succeed on their mandates and task ahead of them

He emphasized the importance of love and unity, urging citizens to foster mutual affection and maintain the bonds that unite them, regardless of differences, to establish an inclusive society for everyone.

He appealed to participants at the gathering to donate liberally for the promotion of God’s endeavors, matching his own contribution of two million for the church building project.

Other notable individuals present at the event made generous donations to support the project’s fundraising initiative, emphasizing the crucial need for increased unity and mutual understanding among Nigerians.

Rev. Jacob Oboshi Egba, chairman of the church council, extended appreciation to all who made time to attend the fundraising event, geared towards financing the church’s infrastructure and land enclosure, emphasizing the significance of backing endeavors that promote spiritual growth.
