The National Coordinator, National Social Safety Net Coordinating Unit, Engr. Abdulaziz S. k Danladi, has disbursed start up cash to over 200 vulnerable persons in Keffi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
This, he said that the cash ranges from N10,000 to N50,000 per person.
Abdulaziz, a former member, representing Keffi East at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly during disbursement of the start up cash to over 200 vulnerable peasants in Keffi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State said it was part of his commitment to address the plight of his people.
The event coincided with the naming ceremony of his new born baby, Fatima, named after his Grand mother.
He appreciated God and President Bola Tinubu for his appointment as National Coordinator, Social Safety Net, Coordinating Unit.
” I want to sincerely appreciate God, after serving as House of Assembly member in the sixth assembly, I am now the National Coordinator, Social Safety Net, Coordinating Unit,
” Today as you can see people from all nucks and crannies of Keffi have gathered to celebrate with my family over the blessing of a new baby girl, which I named Fatima, after my grandmother.
” Today, I have planned to reach out to over two hundred vulnerable women, market people and the poor in Keffi Local Government Area.
” Each of the market people is going home with fifty thousand naira while the vulnerable go with ten thousand naira each.
” What I am doing is to support the people considering the hardship the people are going through,” he said
Abdulaziz called on other well to do Nigerians to support the needy in order to improve on their standard of living.
” I want to call on the well to do individuals to support the needy,” he said
” I pray that God should bless the baby to be obedient to God, her parents and to emulate from the pious.
The NASSCU Coordinator solicited for prayers and support for him and other leaders to succeed.
” I want to call on my people to double up their support and prayers for me and the government at all levels to enable them succeed and enjoy more dividend of democracy,” he said
He said that President Bola Tinubu has the passion to develop Nigeria.
” As I said earlier, President Tinubu has passion for the people of Nigeria.
” He is very much aware of their situation and is all within his power to address the country numerous challenges,” he said.
Abdulaziz also said that President Ahmad Bola Tinubu has planned to take over fifty million Nigerians out of poverty through the ministry of Humanitarian Affairs headed by Minister, Beta Edu.
” I want to call on the Nigerians to support the policies and programs of the present administration to better the life of the people,” he added.
