Obi Youths commends Lafia lawmaker, Akwashiki on quality representation as Doma people ask him to join 2027 HoRs race
A youth group, under aegis, Charity Youth Progressive Union (CYPU) from Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, appealed to incumbent lawmaker representing Lafia Central constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Solomon Yakubu Akwashiki to start warming up and to contest for the seat of House of Representatives for Lafia/Obi Federal constituency in 2027 election.
The group which placed their call on the quality representation and credible performance of Hon Akwashiki in the state assembly.
Comrade Sangari Sunday Okugya, the Chairman of the Group made the call when they paid a solidarity visit to the lawmaker in his office, Thursday in Lafia, the Nasarawa State.
He said that Hon. Akwashiki has performed beyond expectations, hence the need of their call on him to contest for Reps Seat in 2027.
” We are here to congratulate and appreciate you over your quality representation.
” You are truly Mr Project of Lafia Central and of our time. Even a blind man that is not seeing, is hearing what you are doing in Lafia Central constituency.
” Sir, you are doing well, please we want you to keep it up,” he said
The Chairman promised to mobilise support to enable Hon. Akwashiki come out victorious in 2027.
“We want this your gesture at the constituency level and your outstanding performance at the hallowed chamber to be taking to the next level so that we at the other side can also feel it, please we the youths of Obi want you to present your self for reps come 2027” He added.
Responding, Member representing Lafia Central constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Solomon Akwashiki appreciated the Group for the visit and assured of his commitment not to relent in providing dividends of democracy to the people of Lafia Central constituency and beyond.
” I will continue to put smiles on the faces of my people by initiating people oriented projects at all times.
” I will continue to defend my people, speak for the poor and other people of the state,” he said
Hon Akwashiki also assured the people of better days ahead
Similarly, Idoma Youth Group, otherwise called Idoma Youth General, Nasarawa State Chapter led by its Chairman, Comrade Adole Godwin Ajuku has identified with Hon. Akwashiki for representing his people well.
Godwin said that Hon. Akwashiki is a God-sent to the people of Lafia central constituency.
” We are here to appreciate you for appointing one of our own as your Personal Assistant(PA)” he said
The Chairman assured Hon Akwashiki of their loyalty and support to succeed.
They group passed a vote of confidence on the Lawmaker just as they appealed to him for employment opportunities and request for support to complete their project.
Responding, Hon. Solomon Yakubu Akwashiki, member representing Lafia Central constituency thanked the association for the visit and assured of providing all inclusive leadership at all times.
” By God’s grace, I will continue to provide all inclusive leadership to give everybody a sense of belonging and for improved standard of living,” he said
Hon. Akwashiki also assured of effective and sound representation at the state legislature.
