“Ododo’s Canada Awards; A Prophet Honoured at Home and in the Diaspora” – Chief Asaje

The 2025 Community Development, Gender and Youth Inclusive Awards bagged by Kogi State Governor, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, have been described as well deserved recognition.

At the wake of October 1st, which is the commemoration of Nigeria’s 2025 Independence Day celebration, the Mayor of Brampton, His Lordship, Patrick Brown bestowed the three Awards on Governor Ododo to encourage his good leadership style.

Reacting to the Awards, the Founder and National Coordinator of the Like Minds Alliance Pressure Group, Chief Richard Asaje, said the Awards came at the right time and on the right personality.

Chief Asaje pointed out that Governor Ododo have been living up to expectations in the discharge of his duties, stressing that the recognition will spur him to do more.

“His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Chief Servant of Kogi State is a man who have been matching his words with action since his assumption of Office

“His commitment to providing purposeful Leadership has made him to become a Prophet whose efforts are recognised both at home and in the Diaspora

“This is encouraging. His Excellency, Governor Ododo will not just receive this Award, it will spur him to do more of what he has been doing that brought this recognition”, the Elder statesman added.
