One Year in Office: Gov. Sule, Nasarawa Speaker, Minister Imaan, Constituents pass vote of confidence on Nasarawa female lawmaker, Danyaro.

Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, has commended member representing Nasarawa Central constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim for her efforts in developing her constituency in the last one year in office.
Gov. Sule gave the commendation during a Town Hall Meeting organized by Hon Hajarat Danyaro to mark her one year in office today in Nasarawa LGA.
The Governor, who was represented by his Deputy, Dr Emmanuel Akabe said that Hon Hajarat within her one year in office had impacted positively on the lives of the people of her constituency.
“Hon Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim is a fighter to the core. She takes her constituents problems as her personal problems and belonging,” he said.
The Governor said that in the next two weeks, funds will be approved and contractors would resume work at the ongoing construction of Nasarawa Main Market.
“The state government will also construct road networks in the market,” he said.
On tilling of Ara road, the Governor said that the issue would be looked into to boost the socioeconomic activities of the people of the community.
Sule urged the people of Nasarawa Central constituency to pray and support Hon. Hajarat and other leaders to succeed.
Also speaking, Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau described Hon. Hajarat as a defender of the women, orphans, the poor and other people of her constituency and the State at large.
Speaker Jatau also appreciated Hon. Hajarat for initiating different policies and programmes that have direct bearing on the lives of the people of her constituency in the last one year.
“Nasarawa Central has made a right choice for electing Hon Hajarat to the House, I want to call on you to continue to pray and support Hon. Hajarat to succeed,” the Speaker said.
Jatau appreciated Gov. Sule for the good working relationship and assured him of the 7th assembly under his leadership to give the Governor more of maximum support to succeed.
He called on the people of Nasarawa Central constituency and the state at large to continue to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed.
Besides, the Speaker called on the people of the state to embrace unity, peace and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations.
Earlier, member representing Nasarawa Central constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim said that the town hall meeting was to roll out her achievements and get inputs from the stakeholders and other people of the constituency on her performance in the last one year in office
” I made it a point of duty never to let my people down and my people will not regret voting me, one year no doubt has gone down in the journey of four years, today is a day I feel we should look back and examine my one year journey how far so far.
” So we can get inputs and an effective and purposeful observation to enable me adjust my belt where necessary as the second year of my representation begins,” she said.
Hon. Hajarat said that she would continue to remain committed to the development of the constituency and the state at large
” I will continue to remain a committed errand woman that I am to you and I will not renege and shall always come back home to report the outcome of the errand you sent me,” she said.
She said her constituency is set to witness a wide range of developmental activities in all critical areas of human which would positively change the lives of the people of the constituency.
” So far, within one year in office, I have distributed N5000 each to over 100 religion leaders in my constituency under Talafin Tafisu, and to community leaders among others.
” I have installed 10 solar street lights in Nasarawa Motor Pack and Mechanic Workshop, support students school competition, support activities of religion bodies both Islam and Christianity.
” I have constructed culverts and drainages at unguwan kumiya linking ECWA Church as well as Depot Market Road,” She said.
Hajarat said she has provided employments to over 30 unemployed youths in her constituency and beyond.
” I have donated 5 vehicles in my constituency, sank and repaired many boreholes and in my determination to continue to alleviate the plight of my people, I have distributed palliatives to cushion the effects of fuel subsidy removal as well as distribution of Ramadan and Sallah packages to include clothes, rice and cash to various categories of people in my constituency,” She said.
Danyaro also said that she has embarked on grading of Ungwan kutare road down to Gidan Buba Dellali Junction in her constituency
” I have lobbied for the construction of school building at Zakun Bello aside other personal efforts in rebuilding and renovation of primary school class rooms in Nasarawa Town, especially those destroyed by windstorm in kofa kudu primary school among other interventions.
Hon Hajarat assured her people of better days ahead.
Besides, the lawmaker appreciated Gov. Abdullahi Sule for grading Nasarawa/Ara road and appealed to him to upgrade and tile the road.
” To reduce the plight of the people, especially during rainy season,” She said.
She also appealed to the Governor to look into the issue of Nasarawa main market and direct contractors to return to site and complete the work.
” So that my people can enjoy full modern market facilities like other local governments who are beneficiaries of this gesture,” she Said.
The lawmaker further enjoined the people of her constituency to embrace peace and unity at all times irrespective of their religious, ethnic and political differences to build an egalitarian society.
Hon Hajarat Danyaro Ibrahim who is the Chairman House Committee on Women Affairs during the event donated N10,000 each to 100 women of her constituency as part of empowerment.
In their goodwill messages, Emir of Nasarawa, Alhaji Usman Jibril, Rt. Hon Musa Ahmed Mohammed, the State Accountant General, Reps Abdulmumin Ari, Minister of Police Affairs (State) Hon Imaan Sulaiman Ibrahim represented by Mrs Erinfolami Ola, Director in the Ministry of Police Affairs.
Others are Hon.Sani Ottos, the Executive Chairman, Nasarawa LG, Ibrahim Jafa’aru, Safiya Aliyu, Charles Onyeagba among other constituents, all appreciated Hon Hajarat for rolling out policies and programmes that have direct bearing on the lives of her constituents.
They said that Hon. Hajarat is making women and other people in the state proud through quality representation.
