One year in office: LP chieftain, Emma Uche lauds Gov Otti’s developmental strides in Abia

Labour party chieftain in Abia state, Mazi Emmanuel Uche, on Thursday, stated the performances of Governor Alex Otti in the last one year in office superceded that of the past administrations in the state.
Uche stated this in an interview with journalists in Umuahia, the Abia state capital while evaluating the democratic gains of Governor Alex Chioma Otti in the last one year in office.
He posited that the present administration in the state has demonstrated capacity in raising the bar of governance, adding that every facets of Abia are now bearing economic and infrastructural facelifts.
The party stalwart who maintained that Governor Otti need not to campaign for re-election in 2027, adding that his sterling developmental strides in infrastructure, and other critical sector of the economy will speak for him.
Mazi Uche commended the state government on the recent flagged off of the reconstruction of the 30km Arochukwu-Ndi Okereke-Ozuabam road, and its proposed construction of an airport in the state.
His words: “It’s a known facts that Arochukwu-Ndi-Okereke road had been abandoned over years, wherein it became impassable and deathtrap to motorists. But this present administration led by Governor Alex Otti, seeing the economic importance of this road, flagged off its total reconstruction which is ongoing. And when this road is completed will serve as shortest connection to access Arochukwu from Umuahia capital city and vice versa”.
The prominent stakeholder from Arochukwu LGA, urged the people of Abia state to remain steadfast with their support for Governor Alex Otti-led administration as it makes positive efforts in putting Abia on the path of economic greatness.
