Pa Odogbor installed Odion of Odugbo community in Olomoro kingdom
The immediate past Regent of Odugbo community, Chief Samson Egbevurie, handed over the baton of leadership to the newly installed Odion of Odugbo community, Pa Sargeant Odogbor, signifying the start of his reign in Odugbo community, Olomoro, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.
Odion Sargeant Odogbor, takes over the reigns from his elder brother, Odion Stephen Odogbor, who passed-on at the age of 99, and was laid to rest on Friday, March 21, 2025.
After his installment, Odion Sargeant Odogbor appointed his son, Pastor Vincent Odogbor, as Regent to preside over issues concerning Odugbo community as custom demands.
In a chat, the Regent to the Odion of Odugbo community, Pastor (Dr) Vincent Odogbor JP, who is also the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor on Mass Mobilization, i his inaugural speech said as a believer in God and in the blessings of the land, his administration has committed and dedicated the affairs of Odugbo community into God’s hands.
Pastor Odogbor noted that as an Educationist, his administration would introduce innovations that will translate the human and capital resources available in Odugbo community into empowerment for the young people, Especially in line with the very good MORE Agenda plans of the Governor of Delta state, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori.
The people of Odugbo community are blessed with natural resources in crude oil and gas. We believe that with proper synergy with the government and companies operating in our terrain and cooperation of the community, we will be able make progress.

In separate chats, High Chief Thomas Evovo of the Etibokri family in Odugbo community, Deacon Benedict Odogbor, son of the Odion of Odugbo community and Mrs Oghenekome Abraham, daughter of the Odion of Odugbo community shared their thoughts.
The event climaxed with a reception held at the country home of the Odion of Odugbo community, Olomoro, Pa Sargeant Odogbor.
