….They’re political failures, offering nothing but usual deceptive claims
….Praised Ex-Speaker Balarabe’s inclusive leadership
Hon. (Prince) Ibrahim Ohiabutu, a prominent politician from Umaisha district in Toto Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, has raised concerns about the prevalence of hypocrites in politics, advising politicians to steer clear of them in order not to be taken unaware.
Prince Ohiabutu, a veteran administrator and former board member of College of Education Akwanga, Nasarawa State, shared his insights at the All Progressives Congress, APC, campaign flag-off event in Umaisha town on Thursday, which drew prominent stakeholders and key figures from the three districts.
He noted that hypocrites, sycophants, and betrayers permeate our political environment, occupying government positions or following gubernatorial aspirants with the sole intention of gaining financially, without concern for the Toto’s well-being.
He commended the former Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly and current Chairman of the governing council of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Yobe State, Rt. Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi for his inclusive leadership style and open-door policy, which effectively facilitated meaningful development, fostered strong connections between the government and the people of Toto LG.
He identified such elements as political failures, offering nothing but their usual deceptive claims.
According to Prince Ohiabutu, ‘those betrayals are driven solely by self-interest; they will abandon ship once their desires are met.’ I would like to take this opportunity to caution those unaware of such hypocrites, sycophants, and betrayals.
“Some are present with us here while others are elsewhere spreading falsehoods against their own people. The crucial point is that we must exercise caution to avoid being caught off guard, Ohiobutu said.”
While congratulating Pharmacist Ahmed Baba Yahaya, the APC standard bearer for Toto LG, his vice, Atnadu Yakubu, and the 12 electoral ward councillors on their emergence as consensus candidates, noting that they will have their support to succeed
He counseled them to prioritize the welfare of the people over individual interests, while offering a prayer for divine guidance, protection, and leadership.
Hon. (Prince) Ibrahim Ohiabutu is from a royal family and prominent politician from Toto LG.
It would be recalled that stakeholders from Toto LG had toured round the three districts to canvassed for support ahead of slated Saturday, November 2nd 2024 election.
