PTI Chief Executive Advocates for Global Training Standards as Institute Welcomes 1,625 New Students

The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, has restated its commitment to providing world-class technical education, as demonstrated by the matriculation of 1,625 students for the 2024/2025 academic session. Principal and Chief Executive Engr. Dr. Samuel Onoji stressed PTI’s focus on developing highly skilled professionals for the oil and gas industry during the matriculation ceremony.
Dr. Onoji urged students to maximize PTI’s state-of-the-art facilities and resources to develop their technical skills. He encouraged them to remain focused, disciplined, and innovative while warning against unethical behavior such as examination malpractice, cultism, and drug abuse.
He also informed students about the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), a government initiative designed to provide financial support to students, and advised them to apply for the loan to ease their academic burden.
According to the PTI boss the institute have a conducive learning environment which promotes leaning for any one who knows the primary objective of coming in as a student, hence the need to remain focused on your academics which is your primary responsibility.
Reiterating PTI’s vision, Dr. Onoji assured students and their families that the institution will continue to provide a conducive learning environment to nurture excellence and professionalism.
